What to Expect at Christ Community Church

We're excited that you're planning to visit us! We know how uncomfortable it can be the first time at a new church, so we put together some answers to the common questions asked by our 1st-time visitors.

What's a service like?

Each service is about an hour and consists of songs, confession and absolution, Scripture readings, a 15-minute sermon, offering, and Holy Communion.

What's the music like?

At our traditional worship, we use the liturgy (order of worship) that has been used by believers for generations. An organ accompanies all of the hymns (songs). At our contemporary service, our house band plays Christian songs that you may hear on one of the local worship stations.

What's the dress code?

It's pretty casual here at Christ Community Church, so wear what you feel most comfortable wearing.

Will I be asked to say anything?

No, not publicly. Our members are pretty friendly, so you'll probably be greeted by quite a few people, but you won't have to say anything in front of everybody.

What about my kids (sometimes they are noisy)?

Kids are always welcome at worship, but if they get a little loud, you're welcome to take them to our nursery and leave them with our trained staff.

Can I take communion?

Communion is a time for believers to participate in eating and drinking the true body and blood of Jesus Christ. We ask that you speak with the pastor before you join us.

Where do I park?

Anywhere - there are no assigned parking spots. We do ask our members to leave spots open near the front doors for our visitors, so feel free to park there.
